Welcome to Nowhere

As a kid I loved to explore and find out (...and often create) stories about abandoned places. Perhaps you know this feeling: discovering areas where no human being has been in a while or perhaps ever before? This special kind of excitement! And I was always sure the small pond in the middle of this hidden quarry kept some secrets. End time romanticism. Nature winning over the leftovers of civilization. I had long wanted to create a small story around this mix of dump and nature, excitement and beauty with my camera: "Welcome to nowhere."
